Plenia

Privacy Policy

Effective October 10, 2026

This Privacy Policy explains how Plenia (“Plenia,” “we,” “us” or “our”) collects, uses, shares and protects information when you visit getplenia.com, request early access, or use the Plenia app at app.getplenia.com (together, the “Services”). By using the Services, you agree to the practices described here.

Information we collect

Information you give us. This includes:

Information about team members. Account owners and managers can add the people on their team, including names, roles, optional email addresses and 4-digit PINs for shared tablets. PINs are stored only in a secure, one-way encrypted form.

Activity in the app. Plenia keeps a record of activity within each workspace, such as who took, restocked or counted which items and when. This record is part of the service your organization uses.

Technical information. When you use the Services, our systems receive information such as your IP address, browser and device type, and the pages you request. We use it to run the Services, keep them secure, diagnose errors and prevent abuse such as spam.

Cookies and similar technologies

We use only the cookies and similar browser storage that the Services need in order to work: keeping you signed in, remembering your language and display settings, and recognizing a shared tablet your organization has set up. We do not use advertising cookies or third-party analytics. If that changes, we will update this policy first.

How we use information

How we share information

We do not sell personal information, and we do not share it for targeted advertising. We share information only in these cases:

Your organization's data

Workspace content belongs to the organization that uses Plenia. We process it on that organization's behalf and according to its instructions. If you use Plenia as a member of someone else's team, please send requests about that content to your organization. We will help them respond.

How long we keep information

We keep information for as long as needed to provide the Services and for the purposes described in this policy. Workspace content is kept while the organization's account is active and deleted within a reasonable period after the account is closed, unless the law requires us to keep it longer. Early-access requests are kept until you ask us to delete them or we no longer need them. Information used to prevent spam is deleted after one day.

How we protect information

We use industry-standard safeguards, including encrypted connections, access controls, strict separation between organizations' data, and one-way encryption for passwords and PINs. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, but we work hard to protect your information.

Your choices and rights

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct or delete your personal information, or to receive a copy of it. To make a request, email contact@getplenia.com. We will respond within 30 days and will not treat you differently for exercising your rights. You can stop receiving product updates by replying to one of our emails or by contacting us.

Where information is stored

Plenia is based in the United States, and we store information primarily in the United States. If you use the Services from another country, your information will be transferred to the United States.

Children

The Services are intended for businesses and are not directed to children. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 16.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. When we do, we will post the new version here and change the effective date. If the changes are significant, we will let account owners know.
